Day 2, Welcome to Bulgaria/Добре дошли в България!

Welcome to Bulgaria or Добре дошли в България! Finally we arrived at the airport of Sofia (2:05 PM), our driver is already waiting for us in the arrival area. WOW, such mpressive terminal!
Just 20 minutes of driving and we are in downtown of beautiful Sofia. After check in a great 4* “Maria Luisa Hotel”, the rest of your day is at leisure to relax. Maybe tonight you wish to take a sweet little walk to see the charming streets in downtown. You don’t need a taxi as your charming hotel is perfectly located in downtown, just a few blocs from the magnificent Alexander Nevski Church. Tomorrow you will have a chance to see its real beauty from outside and inside, but today let’s just admire some other cool places: gardens, the presidency with its guardsmen in front, cafes, clubs, restaurants. The food is just yummy! It’s so spicy but it tastes really good! Drop in any local restaurant nearby of your hotel and try it. Here are the names of some traditional Bulgarian dishes:
musaka (based primarily on sauteed potatoes or eggplant and tomato, with minced meat)
banitsa (a delicious! traditional urban pastry built up using layers of buttered phyllo dough, eggs, feta or other white cheese, and sometimes yogurt) – absolutely delicious dishes!

Great variety of salads. Go out and try! Sofia is yours to conquer!
